10 years anniversary reception

On 29. June WITec held its 10 years anniversary ceremony at the company headquarters in Ulm. More than 200 guests from all over the world were in attendance to celebrate "A Decade of Innovation in Nanoscale Imaging". In his opening speech, Dr. Joachim Koenen presented an overview of the company's successful development over the last 10 years. Ivo Gönner, Mayor of Ulm, Otto Sälzle, Managing Director of the local Chamber of Industry and Commerce and Prof. Stadtmüller, Vice President of the University of Ulm brought greetings and congratulated WITec on the achievements the company has made over the years. Two featured lectures from Prof. Mark Brongersma of Stanford University and from Dr. Augustin Siegel, Vice President Corporate Research and Technology, Carl Zeiss Group completed the official part of the event. A long festive evening with a magician and a live band followed, entertaining all the attendant guests, customers, suppliers and friends and family members of the WITec staff!
